Hand tufting is the process used to hold the layers of fillings in place, all out luxury mattresses are hand tufted with wool tufts
Our bases are made to size by hand and can be re inforced to suit heavy weight people.
After all the sumptuous fillings are layered over the springs the mattress is closed by tape edging the sides to the top to get ready for hand tufting.
The best way to support the mattress edges is to hand side stitch the mattress, this is a skilled process which takes years to master and is the sign of a top quality product.
